Where It All Started

Matpac is first and foremost a competitive wrestling club that was organized by Coach Milo Trusty in 1978. Milo built a solid program that focused on technique and conditioning, which resulted in kid's improving their skills in wrestling, loving the sport, respecting him, and the final result was winning. At the end of the 2004 season, Milo retired from Matpac, turned the Club over to Jeff Schumacher, and then moved to Colorado to be close to his two kids. Jeff and his coaches have kept the tradition going strong.
