MATPAC and Bison wrestling clubs met each other again in the finals of the Large Group Dual Championships and it was a great dual once again.  MATPAC had a tough road to get there as they came in with the 3rd seed.  We shut out Grand Forks in our first dual and won 71 – 0.  In the Semi Finals we faced Gorilla Wrestling Club and we defeated them by 26 points with a final score of 46 to 20!!

In the final Championship match MATPAC started out on fire with 3 straight wins with the first two matches by Pin by Teagan Heid and Austin Bass!!  Bonus points were huge for us as we had a major decision by Kayden Egeberg and pins by Andrew Smith and Garrett Cowen in the final matches to put us ahead 34 to 30!!

It was great seeing the team really come together and cheer each other on!!  I hope those of you that are new to wrestling were able to experience the team aspect of wrestling, if not here is a video of final minutes of the championship dual.
